Centrist Voters Pave Way For Biden Nomination

Two months ago we organized Center Action Now (CAN) to activate centrist voters to strategically participate in the primary process rather than cede the arena to those on the extremes. Over the course of two months we contacted over 800,000 voters via phone and text and spent millions in a digital ad campaign to identify and turn out centrist voters in the Democratic Primary. What we found was massive enthusiasm from these voters and in states with open primaries where we participated they turned out in record numbers.

With the results tonight in Illinois and Florida it is clear that the major party nominees will be Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

CAN will continue to advance our mission by helping voters understand how they can best secure centrist and responsible governance as we move toward November.
